We Can Change The World!
Jesus' Passion ~ Our Passion
We need to be more passionate about helping people. Each one of us can make a difference one life at a time. We are the greatest
nation on earth, and we do have the ability to change the world!
Did you know there are a handful of people on earth that have enough money to wipe out world hunger? It seems the more
power we get, the less power we have. We let advertising drive us to want more, yet we are never satisfied. Stop for a minute and think
about the poor, the needy and the poverty stricken that surround us.
God does not want us to forget the poor, the lost, and the needy. There are 2,000 scriptures that tell us we have a duty toward the
needy, lost, and poor. We spend so much time trying to make ourselves happy, yet we are the most unhappy people on the earth.
It is impossible to be happy, fulfilled, or satisfied if we don’t reach out to others in need. We need to get up daily thinking, “What can I do
for someone else?” You’ll be amazed what God will do to take care of you once you begin caring for others. How many Christians are truly
involved with missions and feeding the hungry?

Living Out Loud
My desire is for everyone to enjoy life on this planet as much as possible and in as many ways as possible. The phrase "live out loud"
popped into my head, and I saw that as a great way to describe a life that is consciously created to be full of fun and frivolity. Here are
some tips on doing exactly that!
Smile and Laugh Often
Although the concept of laughter being good for us in nothing new,
that hasn't stopped people from consistently taking life WAY too
seriously! None of us is getting out of life alive, so why would you
squander the opportunity to have a good time while you're here?
Yes, you've got issues. Financial considerations, personal demons
to battle, family problems, health concerns, career considerations,
blah, blah, blah. So does everyone else.
If you sit around waiting for all of your "stuff" to be handled before you can start laughing and smiling all day, you'll be laying on your death
bed wishing that you had spent more time laughing and smiling.

TOMs Shoes
Did you know that TOMs shoes gives away a pair of shoes to needy children for each pair of shoes that is purchased. What a blessing.
They are also focusing in on diseases that can be prevented if only you had a pair of shoes to wear. Hat's off to this company.
TOMs Shoes
Thanks Tom!!!!!!

A Celebration of Life
My Dad ~ His Tribute ~ His Stars ~ A Celebration of Life
It’s been 9 years since dad’s passing, and I still miss him as if he just passed yesterday. I remember the day I knew he had cancer, crying
out to God that I didn’t know how I could live without my daddy. His passing has taught me to never take life for granted!
How many of you have a loved one suffering from a terminal illness? Has it caused you to view life differently with a new realization that we
should not take life for granted? The doctors diagnosed my dad with prostate cancer giving him only 6 months to live, but praise God we
were blessed with 3 more years together.
This life event has opened the door for a new special occasion ~ the daily celebration of life! I am thankful God let me see the memories in
the making, and to have the opportunity to say everything I wanted to say to my dad. While my dad was still living he loved to hear me play
the piano and sing. One day he asked me to play a song entitled “Will There Be Any Stars”. The words are as follows:

Anointing of Ease
I have been struggling internally with the fact that I may have to go back to work. I long with all my heart to stay home with my children. I have
searched high and low to find something that I can do from home. I have prayed and listened closely for any words from God.........
As I listened to Joel Osteen, his words hit close to home. He spoke of the "Anointing of Ease." I listened intently as he said, "What we
cannot do on our own, God will go before us, smoothing things out.....thus, everything will fall into place. It is time that we stand on His
promises, and they will come to pass. I don't know about you, but I am ready for God to show up and show out! I am claiming it, "His
blessings and goodness are going to happen in a shorter amount of time than I am expecting!"
As the wind blew today, I could feel My Creator breathing new life into my spirit. I know He is going to reward my faithfulness with a new
season as I come into a harvest beyond belief, just as Ruth did. Remember Ruth, she was in a foreign land, didn't know anyone,
scavenging the wheat fields for food to survive. She then met a man, Boaz, and she stepped into her "anointing of ease." Boaz, the owner
of the fields, told his people to leave handfuls (handfuls on purpose) of wheat for Ruth. She began reaping favor that she may or may not
have deserved, but God had gone before her. God had lined everything up, worked everything out, and Ruth's winter season ended. Ruth
married Boaz and became an owner of those fields.

American's No.1 Source of Antioxidants
Coffee
Researchers from the University of Scranton released reports that coffee is the No. 1 source of antioxidants in the American diet. Black tea
is the second. Antioxidants are substances or nutrients in foods that can prevent or slow oxidative damage to our body. When our cells
utilize oxygen, they naturally produce free radicals (by-products) which can cause damage to other cells. Antioxidants act as "free radical
scavengers" and hence prevent and repair damage inflicted by these free radicals. Fruits and vegetables are hailed as the richest sources
of antioxidants, but this study shows that coffee is the main source from which most Americans get their antioxidants. Both caffeinated and
decaffeinated coffee appear to provide similar amounts of antioxidants.
